Lifelong LearningLinguistics
Psycholinguistics Psycholinguistics is at the
interface of psychology and linguistics. Psycholinguistics touches on
aspects of language related to the psychology of language,
language acquisition, and
cognitive aspects of language, as well as
computational linguistics, particularly as it
relates to artificial intelligence. One feature of psycholinguistics
which I have observed is their greater willingness to use statistical
methods to understand language behaviour than are 'mainstream' linguists
working out of linguistics departments.
