Lifelong LearningLinguistics
Computational Linguistics Computational Linguistics is
the study of language employing the use of computers, or to get computers to
understand human language. Usually these goals are mutually dependent.
Natural language processing. In the past, I've found that computations
linguistics and mathematical linguistics have been confused, due to the use of
'computational' in other fields, such as a course I took a couple years ago
in Computational Neuroscience, however, within Linguistics, the fields are
quite different and tend not to refer to the same thing.
