Science Fiction & Fantasy

I started being interested in science fiction and fantasy--seriously interested rather than casually interested--around 1984.  At the end of sixth grade we had to read Lloyd Alexander's The High King, which I followed up with the rest of the series.  Plus, the original V was on TV that year, and I really liked that as well.  Then David Lynch's Dune came out... and well, you get the picture. (I was also supposed to read The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe that year, and I have to say, I wasn't that impressed.)

In any case, though, I also started writing science fiction and fantasy that year.
