If you want to psychoanalyze the reasons I like baseball, be my guest, but I still love it.  And growing up in Cleveland, I always root for the long-suffering Cleveland Guardians (formerly Indians).  Even after players leave here (and they inevitably will), unless they are playing for the hated Yankees, I am still a fan (sorry, CC).

Mariners finalize deal with Phils for Lee -- how can people not want Cliff Lee?  I just don't get the Phillies. Cliff proved he was a monster big-game pitcher!  They won two games in the World Series entirely on Cliff's back!!!
